Our point of view
Photography is not simply what stood before the camera. It is the emotion that remains after the moment has gone.
Founded in Kolkata in 2017, FOI began with a belief that a frame can hold trust, memory and the inner life of its subject. FOI Magazine is where those ideas become collectible visual stories.
We publish cinematic fashion, boudoir, fine art and cultural narratives from India—created through light, texture, place and the artist’s own philosophy.

The Hundredth Chamber is built inside an 18th-century-inspired private salon: the dining hall, the bedroom, the sunroom and the arched passage. Aayu Choudhary, Swapna Halder, Poulomi and Debpriya each carry a different version of the story.
